About

Dance Came First.
The Camera Followed.

Dance has always been part of how I see cinematography. It shaped the way I understand rhythm, timing, bodies in space, and how movement can carry emotion without forcing it.

I came to cinematography through dance, and that still shapes how I see movement, rhythm, and timing on screen.

I’m a Dublin-based Director of Photography, camera operator, and certified Steadicam and gimbal operator working across commercial, branded, music, theatre, performance-led, short film, and narrative projects.

My approach is built around movement, timing, and control — shaped by a background in competitive breakdancing and years of hands-on operating. That gives me a practical instinct for choreography, rhythm, and how bodies move through frame.

As both a DOP and operator, I focus on creating clean, cinematic visuals that work in real production environments. The aim is not just to design strong images, but to execute them efficiently and consistently on set.

I also co-run Fade Street Studios and FruitFrame, giving me a solid production base and the ability to scale projects with clarity and reliability when needed.

Training That
Supports The Work.

I’ve been in the industry since 2005, and I still think of the work as something you keep building. Training matters, but so does staying curious, sharpening technique, and finding better ways to work on every project.

Hands-On Sessions For Filmmakers Who Want Better Control On Set.

Collaborative shooting sessions at Fade Street Studios where experienced filmmakers build scenes, shape light, test movement, and refine practical decision-making without client pressure.

The format is focused and efficient: real space, real equipment, small groups, and enough time to test ideas properly instead of talking around them.

  • Build a scene from a visual reference
  • Light with purpose and adjust in real time
  • Test movement, camera setup, and coverage
  • Review footage, refine, and shoot again
